Q: Is it normal to see a fluid cleft between he biceps tendon and superior labrum?

A: Hi, Dr Gautam it’s very common to see a small cleft (Blue arrow) between the biceps tendon and the labrum at the site where the BT attaches to the labrum.

 

This is a normal finding and just represents the space between the two as the tendon gets close to the labrum.
